Characteristics

The ADC board of the stack interface is designed to be installed in the chassis of the PCD-R navigation probe of the Halliburton Sperry Sun MWD-650 downhole tool.

The board implements the following functions:

  • provision of the necessary signals for magnetometer coils excitation

  • amplification and filtering of signals received from accelerometers, magnetometers and temperature sensor

  • conversion of signals received from sensors into digital format and provision of the values received transmission to the PCDR probe processor board.
