The hydraulic power station is designed to convert electric energy into hydraulic energy of the power fluid flow as well as to transport the power fluid to operating hydraulic units and back. The station is blast-resistant to allow for operation in explosion and fire hazardous conditions.

The main purpose of the station is joint operation with hydraulic tongs, but it may also be used with other products.

Climatic category is UHL1 according to GOST 15150-69, ambient temperature in the course of operation is from -45°С to 50°С.
